100% OF DONATIONS GO TOWARDS OUR WORK IN THE FIELD

WELCOME TO WINGS OF GRACE INTERNATIONAL

Our work consists of identifying islands with a lack of drinking water. With the help of our partners on the ground, we focus on the areas of those islands which have the greatest difficulty accessing clean water for drinking and hand-washing.

Villagers build a stand and then we distribute 1000 litre tanks (on long-term loan) which are shared by 50-100 people. People from every community are chosen to oversee a tank in order to keep it safe and clean and to ensure that water collected is distributed equitably.

Mission

Enabling people in remote villages on islands worldwide to collect and store rainwater for drinking and hygiene.

1423 tanks, 1.523 million litres of drinking water!

After nearly 14 years as an association, starting with a humble 20 tanks on Manda Island off the east coast of Kenya, we just reached and bypassed 1000 rainwater harvesting tanks in 6 different regions of the world!

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has in any way helped us to reach this milestone! It’s a team effort (including funds, friendship, encouragement and very importantly, prayer) and we look forward to continuing to help the poorest people in the world (who are unable to help themselves) in the years to come.

GOD'S WORK

A small group of friends and good hearted people team up to carry out a God given idea to help forgotten people in villages on islands worldwide have access to clean drinking water via rainwater harvesting.

FRESH WATER

1000 liter/250 gallon, PVC, drinking-quality tanks are sourced in each country and prices negotiated on the basis of our working as a charity. Cost of tanks vary depending on the country, as does the transport. In Madagascar, a tank with a tap which is transported to the Tulear District will cost in the range of 340 Euros. That tank can last from 30-40 years if cared for correctly. Tanks remain the property of Wings of Grace International, so that our rules of sharing water and not selling the tanks are respected.
